Photography has been a passion of mine since I was a boy, growing up surrounded by the picturesque southern coast of Maine, then further inspired by living in New York City at age 18. I'm a “documentary shooter” and photojournalist, attempting to capture unique images on the fly by using mainly natural light, discovering the artistic beauty and integrity in everyday life. As a child, I was absorbed in the fine arts, focused in drawing, painting & sculpture. As an adult, my attention and drive turned to being behind the camera in film & television, relocating to Los Angeles, CA. My photographs are a direct descendent of it all. I'm fascinated by the timelessness of an image, especially the romanticism of 35mm black and white film, and how no other individual is seeing my specific point of view at a given space and time. My photographs are an extension of my inner being. The unspoken word.
